Ammar Haroon

Vice President of Finance

Ammar is the Vice President of Finance for the Illinois Chapter. His responsibilities include overseeing fundraisers, managing the chapter budget, and seeking out grants to support our efforts.

Margot Nalli

Vice President of Community Outreach

Margot is the Vice President of Community Outreach for the Illinois Chapter. Her responsibilities include coordinating donations and hands-on community engagement with target organizations throughout Illinois.

Milan Shah

Vice President of Logistics

Milan is the Vice President of Logistics for the Illinois Chapter. His responsibilities include overseeing drives and donations of books, school supplies, and other educational resources.

Zoë Schmidt

Vice President of Marketing and Design

Zoë is the Vice President of Marketing and Design for the Illinois Chapter. Her responsibilities include promoting the chapter via social media, organizing collaborations, and expanding the organization’s recognition state- and nation-wide.

Natalie Bartel

Vice President of Communications

Natalie is the Vice President of Communications for the Illinois Chapter. Her responsibilities include designing the My Book Wish Newsletter and gathering testimonials to be featured on our website and media platforms.

Vice President of Marketing and Design (2024)

Daaniyah was the Vice President of Marketing and Design for the Illinois Chapter. Her responsibilities included promoting the chapter via social media, organizing collaborations, and expanding the organization’s recognition state- and nation-wide.

Namish Kaistha

Co-President (2017 – 2024)

Namish was Co-President of the Illinois Chapter, helping set the chapter’s footing in developing an online presence.

Siddharth Jaiswal

Founder (2015 – 2017)

Sid founded the Illinois Chapter in 2015 and worked to build a network of community partners to facilitate book drives and donations totaling thousands of books.
